CHARTIER -The passing of Garry Edward Chartier, of Nanaimo, BC, occurred accidentally on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the age of 61 years. Garry is survived by his loving wife, Rosemarie Chartier of Nanaimo, BC; his family, Jacquie (James) Kuss of Medicine Hat, AB, Shannon (Mike) Willms of Birsay, SK and James (Bonnie) Chartier of Coaldale, AB; eleven grandchildren; his parents, James and Evelyn Chartier of Cando, SK; his grandmother, Ethel Chartier of North Battleford, SK; one sister, Phyllis (Wayne) Summach and family of Saskatoon; motherin-law, Jean Panteluk of Battleford, SK; sisterin-law, Patricia (Walter) Muranetz and family of Battleford, SK; and brother-in-law, Nick Panteluk and family of Toronto, ON. He was predeceased by son-in-law, Troy Turnbull; grandfather, Ernest Chartier; grandparents, Stanley and Bessie Galbraith; and father-inlaw, John Panteluk. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lucky Lake Christian Fellowship Church in Lucky Lake, SK with Pastor Barry McGaffin officiating. Interment will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements are in care of the OUTLOOK FUNERAL CHAPEL.

Our condolences to the Chartier family on the passing of Garry. May memories of happy times bring you comfort, and may our wonderful strong God bring you peace and strength to carry on.

We have wonderful memories from our youth: Friday rallies, camp at Turtle Lake, black leather jackets and slicked-back hair.

I've known Garry and his family for many years. Garry pastored the Foursquare Church in Wilkie before moving to BC. Our prayers are with his parents, Bud and Evelyn and with his family. God Bless.

Jan & I are saddened to hear of your loss. Although we did not know Gary, we know Pastor's Bud & Evelyn Chartier, and Phillys & Wayne Summach. We know the feeling of a loss of some one so dear, and our prayers reach out to all the family .We know that God has prepared a place and Gary has a new home.
