Hilda passed away peacefully on August 24th, at St. Paul's Hospital. She is lovingly remembered by her son Keith, grandsons; Keith, Jonathon (Christina), Jason and Dan (Dara), great grandchildren; Kennedy, Taylor, Matthew and Cole. She is also survived by her siblings; Johanna, Cecelia, Florence, and George (Donna), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Stan, son; Kerry, great grandson; Stan Ryan, parents; George and Mary, siblings; Albert, Barbara, Frank and John, and by brothers-in-law; Elmer, Charles, and Henry. Hilda was born on the family farm at Fulda, SK. She spent her entire adult life in Saskatoon, where she chose to be a homemaker. She was always looking out for the interests and well being of her family. Hilda will be sorely missed. The family wishes to express a special thanks to the doctors and staff of the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic for their compassion during mom's regular visits to the clinic. We also wish to thank the doctors, nurses, social worker, and support staff of the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul's Hospital. The care they gave to mom and assistance to the family during these past few weeks was greatly appreciated. A service to celebrate Hilda's life will be held on Wednesday, August 29th, 2012 at 1:00 pm from Windsor Chapel (corner of 8th Avenue North and Windsor Street. Wheelchair friendly). Interment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of David Schurr, Mourning Glory Funeral Services (978-5200).
