Howard Elmer Sandy
It is with sadness that Howard's family wishes to announce his passing at Sherbrooke Veterans Village on September 24, 2013 at the age of 93 years. During the war he was in the RCAF stationed at Marble Island in the Queen Charlotte Islands. From Vancouver the family moved to Provost, Alberta, farmed at Blucher, and finally settled in Saskatoon. Howard is survived by his wife Ruth, daughter Diane (Ron) McKenzie, grandson Glenn and great-granddaughter Jasmine and extended family. He was predeceased by his first wife Shirlie in 1970, his parents and all his siblings. Our thanks to his loving care givers at house 10 at Sherbrooke. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date.
