James (Jim) Labossiere passed away on July 1, 2012 at his home in Battleford. Jim was a civil engineer and worked for the Provincial Highways Department for 38 years and also as a consultant for Clifton Associates for 11 years. Jim was predeceased by his wife Rosaline; his parents, Armand and Laura Labossiere; brother, Ted Labossiere and grandson, Philippe Salois. He is survived by his four children: Marcelle (Lance), Adele, Armand (June) and Gil; his grandchildren: Christopher, Angela (Phil), Nicolas (Christan), Jonathon (Sheri), Tasha (April), Matthew (Lisa), Pamela, Jeannene (Richard), Benjamin (Megan), Jenisa (Kevin), Tavis (Tannis), Jaime and Julian; great- grandchildren: Riley, Abigail, Ella, Madeline, Ashley, Brendan, Derick, William, Elisa, Madisson and Mason. Jim loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid reader and had a passion for prairie history. We will remember him for his gentleness, his intellect and his love of family. Prayer Service will be held at St. Vital Church, Battleford, SK on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at St. Vital on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a Christian Burial at the City Cemetery.
