FUNK, (KASPER, PETERS) Judy Pauline
It is with heavy hearts we announce that our beloved Judy passed away peacefully on November 25, 2012 at the age of 62 after her second battle with cancer. Her husband, children, sister Carol, niece Crystal and special friend Sherry were by her side. Left to mourn is her husband Stan, her son Grant Peters, daughter-in-law Charmaine and daughter Carla Peters of Saskatoon, her grandsons Ayden, Ryder and Carson, her mother, Susie Kasper of Saskatoon, sister Carol Allenbach of Kelowna, sister May (Rick) Tarnowsky of Calgary, Stan's parents, George and Ila Funk of Saskatoon. She also leaves behind many extended family members and many special friends. She is predeceased by her first husband, Dan Peters, father Art Kasper, niece Kimberly Westerwoudt, brothers-in-law Fred Westerwoudt and Wayland Kurtenbach, sister Dianne Kurtenbach.Thank you to the doctors and nurses in the Palliative Care unit at St. Paul's Hospital who provided excellent care and dignity for Judy and her family when she would have wanted it most. Also, a very special thank you to Sherry Halvorson, Dawn Keddy, Jan Meshke, Sheelagh Eimantas, Carol Allenbach, Crystal Kurtenbach and May Tarnowsky for their endless devotion at Judy's bedside. All of you made her smile when she needed it the most. Your love for Judy and the support you gave the family will never be forgotten. Service will be held on Friday, November 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Nutana Park Mennonite Church, 1701 Ruth Street East. Funeral arrangements have been made in the trust of Martens Warman Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
