BROWN, Karen Lynne April 26, 1943 - April 12, 2018 It is with great sadness the family of Karen Lynne Brown announces her passing. On April 12, 2018 after her battles with cancer mom finally succumbed to the disease. She was born April 26, 1943 to Harry and Olive Cleal. One of her greatest accomplishments was becoming an RN and she put that aside to follow her true calling in life which was her children. Her kids meant the world to her. She had a love of fashion and was a proud owner of a clothing store at Waskesiu for a number of years. She was diagnosed with breast cancer 14 years ago and pancreatic cancer 3 years ago and always had that positive fighting spirit. Even in her darkest days when she felt she was having the worst day ever she would always lighten the mood and throw out a compliment to someone. She had many friends whom she loved and at the end of every conversation she always said I am so thankful and so blessed to have you in my life. She had a laugh that was contagious and easily recognized. Right Mom! She will be forever missed and always remembered. Mom is survived by her children: Jil (Dean Zelensky), Jodi (Kim), Trevor; grandson: Cody (Skye) and many grand doggies. She is also survived by her sisters: Gail Spearey, Cheryle (Bob) Bodrug and many nieces and nephews, from Toronto. At Karen's request no memorial service will be held. Even though her battles were with cancer she had a deep love and affection for animals so, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the SPCA (5028 Clarence Ave S, Grasswood, SK S7T 1A7). Cremation arrangements are in care of David Schurr of Mourning Glory Funeral Service (306) 978-5200 www.mourningglory.ca
