Margaret EPP
March 12, 1921 - November 12, 2012
Margaret Epp passed away peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital on November 12, 2012 at the age of 91. She was born to Gerhard and Elizabeth Zacharias in Ukraine on March 12, 1921 and immigrated to Canada in 1923. She was baptized in 1941 at Pleasant Point Mennonite Church. She married Isaac Epp in 1945 and they farmed north of Clavet until 2004 when they retired to Saskatoon. Margaret is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; Irene and Norm Jones (Lori, Jeff and Ben Matity; Steve and Randy Jones; Katherine Jones and Stephen Bronn) Linda and Orest Michalowski; Lorraine and Murray Bentham (Ricarda and Davida); Bill and Molly Epp (Jody and Scott Barr, Austin and Riley Sinclair, Kolton Barr; Jamie Johnson and Tristan Koroscil); Jenna Epp and Kris McCarthy. Also Surviving are sisters Mary Koop and Anne Neufeld and a brother Henry (Alice) Zacharias. She was predeceased by her loving husband Isaac, her parents and several siblings. The Funeral Service will be held at Pleasant Point Mennonite Church 8 miles south of Clavet on Saturday November 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m with Pastor Harry Harder presiding. Inurnment immediately following at Pleasant Point Cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
