Michael Tofin
November 21, 1928 - February 1, 2013
Michael passed away at Royal University Hospital on Friday, February 1st, 2013 at the age of 84 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife Doris, sons; Dennis, Darcy (Cheryl), Donovan (Adele), Paris (Gerry); Daughters Dessirrie (Greg), Coralie (Bryan), 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brother Leonard (Loretta) Tofin and sister Mildred Friesen and numerous nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his father Nicholas and mother Mary. He was born on the family farm near Lethbridge, and grew up on a farm for which he had a great love for. In the early 1950's his aggressive nature sought life beyond the farm which led him to work and have business opportunities in Saskatchewan. His family was always the most special thing in his life, and will always leave many fond and enjoyable memories with his family. The Funeral Service for Michael will be held on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the Saskatoon Funeral Home Chapel (338 Fourth Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK.) with Rev. David Moors officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery. To send online condolences for the family please visit mail@saskatoonfuneralhome.com.
