HARVEY, Ouray (Bev)
It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Bev Ouray Harvey on January 27, 2013 at the age of 88. Bev was born on June 15, 1924 in Dauphin, Manitoba. He took his high school education in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. During WWII Bev proudly served for his country, in the Navy. Following the war he had a successful career working for the Canadian National Railway for more than 45 years. Bev was an active member of the C.N.R. Pensioner's Club, the Telegrapher's Club and a contributor to the Military Museum at the Humboldt Legion. He was married to his lovely wife Ann for 66 years. Bev was a man that greatly valued his family and close friends. He cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bev was an avid reader and lifelong learner. He loved sports especially curling and hockey. The outdoors appealed to Bev and he was often looking forward to his next fishing trip. Bev is survived by his loving wife Ann, his two children Brian (Sharon) and Beverley Ann (Kim) Colwell. He also leaves four grandchildren Leanne, Craig, Christopher and Kelsey and two great grandchildren Isabella and Kassandra who brought him great joy.
