DAVIDSON -Mrs. Pat Davidson passed away peacefully at home in Asquith, SK on Tuesday, December 21, 2004. Pat was born at Perdue, SK on March 17, 1927 and raised on the family farm at Arelee, SK attending school until Grade 10 at Belmae and then to Saskatoon Nutana Collegiate where she graduated from Grade 12 and became the #1 fastball pitcher for the Collegiate team in 1942. Mom married Wes Davidson in 1946 moving to Asquith and raised a family of three sons, Gord, Leroy and Glen. She helped Wes on the farm until his passing in 1966. Mom worked at the Asquith Co-op retiring in 1992 after 23 years of service. Before and after retirement Mom enjoyed sports, playing cards, horseshoes, and bowling and was one of her grandchildren's greatest fans, watching them participate in hockey, rodeo, Ukrainian dancing, fastball and bowling. She loved the area around Asquith and Perdue and its people and was very proud to call you her friends. Pat is survived by her sons, Gord (Marg) of Lethbridge; Leroy of Asquith; Glen (Barb) of Asquith; grandchildren, Jason (Twyla) Davidson, Chad (Heather) Davidson, Heather (Kyle) Kehoe and Holly Davidson; great-grandchildren, Jason's daughter, Jordan; Chad's daughter, Tristin and son, Weston; and Heather's daughter, Saige. Predeceased by her husband, Wes; mom and dad (Hazel and Fred Strate); mother-inlaw, Celia and father-in-law, Francis Davidson; older brother, Garnet Strate; brother, Bill Strate; sister, Genevieve Strate; brother-in-law, Bert Nicholls; brothers-in-law, Jerry, Cliff and Gordon Albert as an infant; sister-in-law, Jenene Davidson; nephews, Neil Davidson, Morris and Bob Strate; and niece, Doreen Redlich. Survived by brothers, Jim (Fran) of Perdue, John (Marg) of Perdue; sisters, Lil (Bob) of Saskatoon, and Hahanna of Biggar; Wes's only sister, Fran (Jim) Young of Tsawwassen. BC; sisters-in-law, Esther of Shell Lake, SK and Wilma of Edmonton, AB. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Wheatfield Cemetery fund in care of Vivian Eaton, Perdue, SK S0K 3C0. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. from Park Funeral Chapel, 311-3rd. Ave. North, Saskatoon. Officiating will be Rev. Jack Carr. Cremation to follow with interment in Wheatfield Cemetery, Kinley District, SK at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to James Werezak. 244-2103.

Pat was such a friendly person and had a great sense of humour. She made me feel very welcome when I had first moved to Asquith and always had something nice to say. My thoughts are with you all.
