RONALD GLEN PERKINS
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Glen Perkins of Saskatoon, formerly of Edgerton, Alberta. Ron passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon at 59 years old following a battle with cancer. Ron is lovingly remembered by his wife Shirley, his mother and father John and Lillian Perkins; his daughters Theresa (Terry) Perkins; Leslie (Cary) Bloedel, grandchildren Logan and Lily; Jaylene (Joseph) Maguire, grandchildren Brandon, Jeremy and Kylie and his son Wayne (Melinda) Perkins, grandchildren Jessica and Wyatt; Ron's siblings Ken (Marlene) Perkins, Harold (Lea) Perkins, Carolyn (Sy) Skinner, Lorraine (Kirk) Boote, Cheryl (Dwight) Larson, Marvin Cardinal (Debbie Fleury); Shirley's children Laurie, Kevin and Bruce (Karen) Ber as well as his other relatives and many close friends. Ron enjoyed horses, mechanics, photography, carpentry, NASCAR and golf. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Dr. Ahmed for his words of compassion and comfort. As well, thank you to all that helped take care of Ron during his illness. Memorial donations may be made to the Saskatoon Cancer Centre (20 Campus Dr. Saskatoon, SK S7N 4H4). A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall located at 1030 2nd Avenue in Wainwright, Alberta.
