It is with great sadness that the family of Stephen Britton announces his passing on Monday, November 26, 2012 at St. Paul's Hospital.
After a courageous battle with cancer, Stephen passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. Stephen"s kindness, happy disposition, smiles and sense of humor did not go unnoticed by all those who knew him and will forever be in our memories. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife Linda ; son Kelvin (Kerry) Pickering of Saskatoon; daughter Lynn (Steve) Phillips of Calgary; grandchildren Dustin, Leighton, Nicholas and Kathryn; brothers Malcolm (Maureen) and Melvin (Lindsay) Britton from England; and numerous brothers and sisters- in-law, cousins as well as nieces and nephews. Stephen was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Alice Britton of Bolton, England and brother Gary Britton of Calgary, Alberta. In Stephen's memory donations may be made to the St. Paul's Palliative Care Unit (1702-20th St. W, Saskatoon, S7M 0Z9). A funeral service for Stephen will held at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St., first right past Briargate Rd.) on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Online condolences may be sent from www.hillcrestmemorial.ca Arrangements entrusted to Sten Olesen.
