Cooper The passing of Mr. Victor Carlson Cooper of Biggar, SK, occurred in the Biggar Hospital with his family at his side on March 24, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Vic served in WW11 with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry and in the Korean War with the Canadian Army Special Forces 2nd Battery. Victor is survived by his children: Debra (Brian Rogers) of Cold Lake AB, and children Brett, Troy Reynolds; Edward (Sandra) of Nelson BC, and children Jessie and Taylor Cooper and Kim Proctor and her daughter Chloe Rose, and Dennis of Biggar SK; two brothers Leonard Cooper of Brantford, ON, and Eldon (Audrey) Cooper of Windsor, ON; and one sister Leotia (Gavin) McCulloch of KitchenerWaterloo, ON; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife: Lena (June 11, 2011) infant son Robert, parents Edward and Marguerite, brothers Earl and Morley, and sister Dorothy. Private family services will be held in Biggar and an interment service will be held in the Central Butte Cemetery on Thursday March 29, 2012, Memorial donations in Vic's memory may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Biggar and District Community Foundation for the New Diamond Lodge, Biggar, SK. Grondin Funeral Services Biggar entrusted with arrangements (948-2669).
