HARDER, Walter H. Walter was born on August 5, 1946 and passed away peacefully at home on June 9, 2018. Walt will be remembered fondly for his generous spirit, kindness, and compassion for those in need. Walt was a friend to many and throughout his life gave his time generously to many causes and groups, including MCC Saskatchewan, Bethany Manor, the Coronary Artery Rehabilitation Group (CARG), Rotary, and his church. Walt leaves behind a loving family including his wife and best friend, Elaine Harder (nee Hamm); son Geoffrey (Kim Frail) Harder; daughter Christina (Rich) Haggarty; grandchildren Mark, Sophie, Wyatt, Simon and Lyndi; sister Hilda (Corny) Patkau; sister-in-law Dorene Epp; brothers-in-law Raymond (Jeanette) Hamm and Brian Haliburton. A Celebration of Walt's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Mount Royal Mennonite Church (610 Ave. O N.) in Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee Saskatchewan or Coronary Artery Rehabilitation Group (CARG).
