WYLIE, Wayne April 2, 1938 - March 6, 2018 The family of Wayne Wylie announces his passing on March 6, 2018 at Central Haven Special Care Home. In recent years his health had been declining and after a brief stay in the hospital, he was transferred to Central Haven for special care. Wayne will be greatly missed by his wife Gwen, of almost 60 years, daughter Karyn (Mike) Hall and granddaughter Amy, son Kevin (Sherrie) Wylie and grandchildren Karley and Kirk (Brie). He was predeceased by his parents Reg and Effie, brother Russ, and in-laws Jack and Gladys Smith. Over the years he enjoyed many games of curling and watching the Blue Jays. Wayne and Gwen spent their time on the golf course in the summer and travelling to sunny destinations in the winter. Wayne looked forward to his Day Programs at Oliver Lodge and Luther Care since 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to SaskAbilities (2310 Louise Ave. Saskatoon, SK S7J 2C7) or to Laura Cemetery, c/o Glen Yellowlees (Box 194, Delisle, SK S0L 0P0). No Funeral Service will be held. The family will have a Private Memorial in the spring at Laura Cemetery.
