Miriam Ruby Miller, 88, of Saskatoon, died Friday, January 31, 2014 at St. Paul's hospital. Miriam was born to the Joseph and Alvina Schmidt, January 12, 1926, in Waldheim, Sask. She married Delmer Miller in 1946 and they were happily married until his passing in April 2009. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Alvina, husband Delmer, a child, Beverley, son-in-law Russell, and sisters Selma and Shirley. Miriam is survived by two daughters: Donna Wurtz, of Langham and Kathy Chambers (Mark), of Kelowna, three sisters Alice, Mildred and Mable and three brothers, Wesley, Marvin (Margaret) and Stanley. She also is survived by five grandchildren, Kelly (Jason) Cooper, Trevor (Monique) Wurtz, Krista (Jesse) Schiebelbein, Josh Chambers, Allison Chambers and five great-grandchildren. A memorial will be held Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dalmeny Funeral Home. Private family burial will be at a later date.
