Helen Isabelle Gulyas
1944 - 2014
It is with deep sadness that the family announced that Helen Gulyas, age 69 of Regina, SK lost her battle with cancer and passed away on February 26, 2014 at Pasqua Hospital in Regina. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Home on Friday March 7th, 2014 at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Speers on Saturday February 8th at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial in Regina. Helen was born in Fort Qu'Appelle to Mary Moran and Alexander Hamilton on November 30, 1944. She met Louis at a young age. They started the lumber yard at Regina Beach where she worked for many years. They had 4 children. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a kind hearted woman that loved to laugh and enjoyed reading and art. Helen is survived by her sons: Louie and children: Jessica, Alexandra and Amanda. Michael and his wife, Laurie and children: Alexandra and husband, Mike and family, Anthony, Becky and Chase, Samantha. Her daughter: April and Virgil and children: Anthony and Kaitlyn and baby Alayah, Chandra and John, Chantell's son: Nathaniel, Shea and Desirea. Mitch whom were just like a grandson and dear friend and his children. She will be sadly missed by her great aunties, Ida and Jim and family, Edna and Linda. Her brothers, Frank's family, Bud and wife, Helen and family, Ray and wife, Madeline and family, Dusty and wife, Gail and family, Glenn and family, Alex and family, Frankie and wife, Maggie. Her sisters, June and family, Anna and family. She will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and her other family members. She was predeceased by her daughter: Sandy, granddaughter: Chantell, Ernie, her Mom, Dad, great grandparents, brothers: Clayton and Frank, sister in laws: Gay and Diane. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone that was with Helen, helping her through her battle with cancer, including the doctors and nurses at palliative care at Pasqua Hospital in Regina.
