ROBB, Georgina
It is with loving hearts that the family of Georgina Robb announces her passing on Tuesday, March 04, 2014 at the age of 66 years young. Georgina grew up in the Gideon area (Corman Park), and was the third child to Stanley and Christina Robb. She attended elementary school at Gideon School and then Saskatoon Technical Collegiate. Georgina worked at Quaker Oats for a number of years where she met Kay, her best friend of 45 years. She also worked for over 30 years at Saskatoon Fresh Pack. Georgina loved to cook, shop, golf and spent many summer weekends at Emerald Lake with family and friends. She had a long standing weekly date for shopping with her sister and good friend, Diane. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy; she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Georgina was predeceased by her parents; brother Gary (Bertha "Bert"); her father and mother- in-law Robert Sr. and Vi McTavish. Georgina will be lovingly remembered by her son Russell (Denita) and their children Brock and Danaë; daughter Glenda (Chris) and their children Trent and Reece; sister Diane (Joe); her partner, Ed and his daughter Tracey (Rob); the father of her children, Robert McTavish Jr.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family of Georgina would like to thank the staff at St. Paul's Hospital for their care and compassion. A Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St., first right past Briargate Rd). A Private Memorial Service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Kinsmen Telemiracle (2217C Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, SK S7L 6A8). Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Charmaine Menard.
