It is with sadness that the family of Doris announces her passing on Thursday, March, 20th, 2014 at Sherbrooke Community Centre in Saskatoon, SK. at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her husband Murray, daughter, Ruth (Marcel) Gosselin, her daughter Lorna (Jake) Hoyles, her son, Ron (Darcy) Schollar, daughter Karen (Greg Lopaschuk), Left to cherish are her grandchildren, Jasmine, Aaron, Jesse and Tabitha. Also her brother, Harold (Eva) Nancekievill, brother, Gordon Nancekievill, as well as her sister, Eileen (Norman) Aarrestad and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Doris was born and raised at Penzance, SK. She married Murray Schollar in 1958. Together they raised four children and farmed in Craik, Penzance and Hanley. Later, they retired to Saskatoon in 1981. She had a strong faith and was an active member of her church. Doris' enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, sewing and geneology. A Celebration of Doris' Life will be held at Saskatoon Funeral Home Chapel (338 - 4th Ave. N., Saskatoon, SK.) on Tuesday, March 25th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Donations In Doris' honour may be made either to the Sherbrooke Community Centre, Tulip Committee or the Alzheimer's Society of Saskatchewan. Interment will be held at Craik, SK Cemetery on Wednesday, March 26 at 2:00 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Saskatoon Funeral Home (306)244-5577.
