It is with deep sadness the family of Brian Borody announces his death which occurred on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Paulls River, SK. He will be terribly missed by Lesley, his loving wife of 25 years. They celebrated their 25th Anniversary in November at Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, a favourite spot. Brian was a devoted father to Kristin, Emily, Lukas and Damian and his precious grandson Pierson, all of whom will miss him immensely. Brian was born in Cochenour, Ontario, relocating to several locations in Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. He settled in Saskatoon in 1976. He held many positions working with O.J. Pipelines followed by a sales career starting in Saskatoon, working his way up to District Sales Manager. His true passion was real estate sales at which he excelled, culminating as a broker with his own business, Repco Realty. He married Lesley in November of 1988 and together raised their four wonderful children of whom he was immensely proud of. Brian was a proud member of the Masonic Temple, holding various positions. He loved watching F1 and Nascar Racing, gardening, and enjoyed travelling with his wife and kids. They took numerous trips to Mexico, California and the Caribbean. He was a skilled craftsman and all around renovator. He built his wife an amazing oasis in their backyard. There was no job he couldn't tackle, and it was done to his perfecting standards. Brian enjoyed canoeing, backpacking, hunting, and fishing, and he passed on this love of nature to his children. He was a devoted and loving family man who would do anything for his children and wife. There were many wonderful Christmas Eves, BBQ's and trips to the mountains and northern lakes including Waskesiu and its backcountry. A service in Brian's memory will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home, 388 4th Avenue North.
