In Memory of William (Bill) John BOURGEAULT
June 18, 1943 - July 1, 2014
On July 1st, 2014, our loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, William John Bourgeault, passed away unexpectedly at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon at the age of 71. He was surrounded by his loving family and close friends. Born on June 18, 1943, Bill grew up in Watrous, Saskatchewan. After graduating high school he went on to graduate with honours from the Credit Institute of Canada. From there he led a distinguished career of over 40 years with the credit unions of Saskatchewan, starting in the communities of St. Brieux, Val Marie and ending finally with the Lloydminster Credit Union as Manager of Finance. On July 1st, 1964 he married the love of his life, Denise in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan. They continued to live there with their three children, Paul, Laura and Nicole, until 1973, at which time Bill accepted a position as Branch Manager with the Lloydminster Credit Union in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. It was there that they continued to raise their children and build an amazing life. He was very dedicated and involved with his community as a Lions Club member and a member of the Catholic School Board where he was very passionate about Catholic education in Lloydminster. His dedication to his family and his faith knew no bounds. Bill's overwhelming love, influence and generosity will be immensely missed by all of his family and friends. For those of you who came to Saskatoon on July 1st for Bill & Denise's 50th Anniversary celebrations, if you would like to bring any of those cards and gifts to the funeral service, there will be a place to put them. Bill was pre-deceased by his parents, Joseph and Alexina; sister-in-law, Donna Bourgeault; brother-in-law, Maynard Thomas and niece Susan Laird. Bill is survived by his wife, Denise; children, Paul (Kelly) Bourgeault, Laura Bourgeault (Edward Anger) and Nicole (Scott) Spann; grandchildren, Briana, Madison, Jacob, Alizabeth, Meghan and Maximus and siblings, Ron (Nan) Bourgeault, Joanne (Ben) Laird, Art (Kathy) Bourgeault and Jennie Lynn Thomas. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and/or the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan. The Vigil for Bill will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Rev.
