December 12, 1942 - June 28, 2014
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announce the sudden and tragic passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Leonard is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Darlene; son, Curtis (Jennifer); grandchildren, Ethan, Gabriella and Matteo; daughter, Shantelle (Matthew Jones); mother-in-law, Eva Panchuk; sister, Helen Kopach and nephew, Randy Kopach. Leonard was predeceased by his father, Alexander; mother, Mary; nephew, Michael Kopach; brother-in-law, Stan Kopach; father-in-law, Marcel Panchuk. Leonard was a proud farmer and business owner. He loved country music, nature and the outdoors and spending time with his family. Leonard will be greatly missed by his family. He will forever be in our hearts. The Vigil for Leonard will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 with Rev. Father Nestor Gregoire O.M.I. presiding. Both services are being held at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church (1202 Ave O South). Rite of Committal to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
