STEFANIUK, _Andrew. September 23, 1919 March 31, 2004. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Andrew Stefaniuk, loving husband, father and grandfather. Andrew fell asleep in the Lord on March 31, 2004. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered and cherished by his wife of sixty years, Olga, (nee Taciuk) his two daughters Audrey (Boris) Ewanchuk, Valorie (John) McCombe, grandchildren: Dr. Mark Ewanchuk (Dr. Jill Griffiths), Kathryn Ewanchuk and Peter Ewanchuk all of Edmonton, Alberta; brothers, Eugene (Elsie) Stefanuk, Ernie (Janet) Stefanuk and sister Olga Luciuk all of Saskatoon. Also mourning his passing are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Andrew was predeceased by his parents Wasyl and Anna Stefanuk, brothers: John, Dmetro, Harry, Michael and sisters Sophie and Mary.Prayer services will be held on Friday, April 2, 2004 at 8:00 pm at St. Herman Orthodox Church, 9930-167 St., Edmonton, AB. A vigil will be kept this night at the church and a full liturgical funeral will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 9:30 am. A private family interment will follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens. If you wish to honour Andrew's memory a memorial donation may be made to the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. "Give rest O Lord, to the soul of Your servant, Andrew, where sickness and sorrow are no more, neither sighing but life everlasting. " May his memory be eternal! Vichnaya Pamyat! "Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. " Matthew 5:7We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and sincere thanks to ALL the staff of 5C4 at the University Hospital.
