It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret after several years of illness. Margaret was born in Berkshire, England to William and Edith Hook. She was predeceased by her husband Donald, both parents and her three siblings. Margaret came to Wilkie, Saskatchewan in April 1920. She graduated from McClurg School in Wilkie and then attended Normal School in Saskatoon, graduating in 1932. Margaret worked as a teacher in Brooksby, Unwin, Zealandia and Wilkie. She married Don in 1940 and they had three children, Gill, Dennis and John. Margaret retired as a teacher librarian in 1978. She and Don enjoyed many winters in Palm Springs where they were often visited by family. Don died in 1989. In 2000, she moved to Saskatoon to reside at Riverside Terrace. Margaret was always very active in her community including the Scout Mothers' Group, Figure Skating Parents' Group, Home and School, the Anglican Church choir and as librarian at Riverside Terrace. She was a lifetime member of the Anglican Womens' Auxiliary and the Legion Auxiliary. She moved to Sherbrooke Community Centre in 2007. She is survived by her three children, and their spouses, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three step grandchildren and nine step great- grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her two sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Sherbrooke Community Centre, Dr. E.
