1946 - 2013
The peaceful passing of Edward 'Ed' Woytiuk, age 66 years beloved husband of Sylvia, occurred at his residence on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Edward was born February 6, 1946 in Prince Albert, SK. He attended school at Orolow, Blaine Lake and graduated grade 12 at Walter Murray in Saskatoon. He farmed in the Orolow district his entire life. Ed married Sylvia Kachmarski on June 6, 1970. They had three children Ryan, Renée and Radley. Ed drove school bus for the Blaine Lake School Unit for almost 42 years. He took great pride and loved the children entrusted to him. Ed's most treasured possessions were his grandchildren; his eyes would light up whenever he saw the girls. Ed loved farming, fishing, hunting, anything that would get him outdoors. He loved to visit and have coffee with neighbours and friends. Ed enjoyed playing music with his buddies and entertained whenever he got the chance. He was a very giving man and would help anyone at any time. Ed always had a joke and a smile and made friends wherever he went. Ed's humour and wit was second to none. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia; daughter, Renée (Travis) Kowalchuk of Saskatoon and their daughters Taeya and Morgan; son Radley of Lethbridge, AB; siblings, Rose Novakowski, Bob, Elmer (Marion), Stan (Mary), Nancy Louison; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Ryan (2002); parents, Dan and Anna (Chomitzki) Woytiuk; brother, Michael (Vivian); and brothers in law, Lloyd Louison and Stan Novakowski. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of RUH 6100 Unit.
