Yvette DANIELSON Obituary
August 29, 1940 - February 20, 2013
After a lengthy battle with cancer, Yvette passed with family by her side. Yvette is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Janna Zimmerman (Desi) and grandchildren, Payton and Cael; her son, Steven Danielson (Cindy) and grandchildren Connor and Nathan; her children's father, Marlin Danielson; sister, Andrea (Lawrence) Sunderland; brother, Gerard LeStrat, O.M.I.; sister, Henriette LeStrat; sister-in-law, Elaine LeStrat; sister, Aline (Verle) Tarasoff; brother, Alain (Susan) LeStrat and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Yvette was predeceased by her parents, Andre and Dina LeStrat; her brother, Julien LeStrat, and nephew, Ron Quessy. Mom is fondly remembered for the love she gave to her children, grandchildren and entire family. The Vigil for Yvette will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22 and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, with both services at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church (1902 Munroe Avenue). In lieu of flowers, Yvette requested donations be made to one of either the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (AMMI Lacombe Canada MAMI, 601 Taylor Street West, Saskatoon, SK, S7M 0C9), Cancer Research, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Foundation. Condolences to Yvette's family, as she surely is a treasure lost. Yvette was my Office Assistant for a time, and she consistently demonstrated her compassion, competence and patience. Her quiet ways were always accompanied with a quick smile and ready laugh. She was a very real blessing to me, personally, and to everyone met.
