Hildegard Doetzel (née Nett) was born 1915 in Strome, AB. She passed away peacefully in St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon SK on Saturday, February 23, 2013. On June 30, 1936 Hilda married Theodore A. Doetzel and they lived near Bruno where she was a domestic engineer. In 1971 Hilda moved into Saskatoon where she worked in the service industry until retiring. She enjoyed entertaining her many relatives and friends. Hilda is lovingly remembered by: the children of her late daughter Loyola Hubert, Michael, twins Darrel (Naomi) & Darlene (Dalton) Olueh, David (Adriana); Yvonne Hein and sons Dale, Allen (Maxine), Blaine (Beatrice), Kelvin (Denise); Doreen (Dave) Thompson and their children Janice (Trevor) Zerff, Laureen (Glen) Sandin, Trent; Ronald (Irene) and children Sheryl (Thomas) Mackay and Darren (Sherry) Remenda; Melvin (Ellen) and children Edwin (Amber), Lauraie (Glenn) Epp, Terry (Jennifer), Holly; Gerald and children Camela (Len) Anderson, Brenda Carriere, Tania (Jeff) Quibell, Janice (Stephen) Avivi; Lloyd (Connie) and sons Clinton (Cory) and Sheldon; siblings Henry Nett, Arnold (Elizabeth) Nett, Katherine Greensill, Lena Bender and brother-in-law Henry Koob, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Hilda was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew & Elizabeth (Kalthoff) Nett, husband Theodore A Doetzel, daughter Loyola & son-in-law Gilles Hubert , son-in-law Abe Hein, daughter-in-law Dianne Doetzel, and grandson-in-law Shawn Carriere. Hilda was a 60 year member of the Catholic Women's League, active member of the Heart and Stroke Club and the Senior's Club. Vigil for Hildegard will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., both at St. Paul's Cathedral Parish (720 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon) with Rite of Committal at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
