It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of (William) Harold Saul of Saskatoon on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the age of 89 years. Harold was born in Benito, Manitoba to Francis and William Saul. He married Nellie Sanders in October 1956 and had two children. Harold spent most of his life farming west of Saskatoon near Grandora. For several years, he drove the school bus to Vanscoy. In 1987, Harold retired from farming and moved to Saskatoon. Harold was a family man. His family was so important to him. He would light up when he was with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many wonderful memories were made as the family shared time together. Harold loved to spend time at the lake and fish. He enjoyed times spent with his friends and neighbors visiting and playing cards. He will be missed by all who knew him. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 56 years, Nellie (nee Sanders); his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Russell Johnson; his son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Maryann Saul; five grandchildren, Lindsey Johnson (Chad Termul), Chad Johnson (Cora Komada), Stacey Laing (Chad Laing), Tanner Saul (Lisa Bedesky) and Matthew Saul (Kim Gamwell); great grandchildren, Nixon and Hailey Saul; his sister, Olive Souster; all his brothers-in- law, sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Sydney Saul. The Funeral Service will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Keitha Ogbogu.
