William Cisecki was born on the family homestead in Krydor, Saskatchewan to parents Lucko and Anastazia Cisecki on June 2, 1915. This is where he grew up and received his education in Krydor School. He had 14 siblings - 6 sisters and 8 brothers. William was predeceased by his wife Mary Eileen Thompson (nee Robinson) on April 4, 2013 after 55 years of marriage. William met "the love of his life" in Port Alberni, BC where he was a taxi driver. The couple married on May 18, 1957. Later moving to Osoyoos, BC where he was a vacuum salesman.
