To Marg, Kathleen, and Diane
Gordon and I extend our deepest sympathy to you at this sad time. It must be a comfort to know Tom had a long, rewarding life. He was a long time friend and neighbour sharing many happy events over the years. He will be sadly missed. With our deepest sympathy.

Dear Marg, Kath and Diane,
Ron and I send you our deepest condolences. We both really enjoyed your Dad and respected him as did my parents, Stan & Min. Dad trusted your father completely. Canada's people benefitted so much through your Dad, and those who knew him personally were even more fortunate. Thinking of you, especially today, Thursday May 12th.
Love
Audrey & Ron

To Marg and the family - So sorry to hear of you father's passing. I will always remember chats with Tom at Waskesiu - it seemed that every time I was up there so was Tom. I once asked him if he ever had the opportunit;y to become a judge and in his usual humor is said "Yes, more than once but I couldn't afford the pay cut" - my sincerest condolences. He will be missed in law and by all his friends.

To Marg, Kathleen and Diane -- Helen joins me in extending our sympathies to you at this difficult time. You have lost a wonderful father and friend. He was a distinguished lawyer in every sense of the word and had the full respect and admiration of his professional colleagues as a person of honour and integrity. It was my good fortune to have been in partnership with him in the practice of law for eleven years ( along with W.B. and Mervyn) during which time every day was a happy one with never a cross word between any of us. Those were days we will always treasure and included frequent visits to the Gauley household as you three girls were growing up. You were blessed to have had such wonderful parents and our thoughts are with you now at the close of your dad's earthly and so well lived life.-- Ted Hughes.

I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I had the privilege of working with Tom in the first year of my practice. He was always willing to share his knowledge and experience and he was a true gentleman and a friend to all at the firm and community. He will be truly missed.
