STACEY, Stan
With great sadness we announce the passing of Stan Stacey December 20, 2016, after a 2 ½ year battle with cancer. Stan was born in Watrous in 1952 to Stan and Mae Stacey. His two sisters Hazel and Marjorie adored their baby brother. He often said he had the perfect childhood. Stan leaves behind his wife Pat, daughters Rana (Dustin) Derksen and Margo (Shane) MacDonald; grandchildren Olivia, Oscar and Felix Derksen, Payton and Molly MacDonald; sisters Marjorie (Don) Clements, Hazel (Gary) Voysey; brother-in- law Ron (Dianne) Lamont; and numerous nieces and nephews, and special cousin Dwight (Shirley) Allan who was like a brother. As per Stan's wishes, family and friends are welcome to gather on January 3, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Riverside Country Club (3180 Grasswood Road West) to reminisce and share stories. Dear Pat & Family
I am shocked and saddened by Stan's passing. I have been dealing with Stan since before I started my business and he visited my shop just a few weeks ago. He was a wonderful fellow to deal with and long ago became a friend. I knew he was unwell but I had no idea how seriously. It is so sad that he is gone. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Stan was like a surrogate father to our children when they were young. He was a good friend and neighbour. Pat, your soul mate left this world too early. Life brings tears, smiles & memories. The tears dry, the smiles fade, but the memories last forever! Stan, we will miss you greatly. Love and hugs from the Ritchie's.
