Thomas Dull Obituary
MUNCIE - Thomas Rex Dull, 81, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Muncie on June 16, 1934, the son of Thomas and Anna Lois (Wallace) Dull, spent his childhood in Cincinnati and later graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor degree in Education.
Tom taught special education in Harrison, Ohio and Palatka High School in Florida. After he retired he worked at Grandma's Pharmacy in Ft. McCoy, Florida. He also attended Orange Springs Community Church in Florida.
Tom was an avid ice skater and was a member of Queen's City Ice Skating Club. He also judged preliminary trials for the Olympics. He loved to travel, especially hiking in Switzerland. His other hobbies included painting and art. Tom loved animals and had rescued several dogs over the years.
Survivors include his cousins, Linda Putman (husband, Wayne) of Selma, Celia Wallace of Indianapolis, Greg Putman (wife, Sanae) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Bryan Putman (wife, Laura) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; several other cousins also survive; his lifelong friends, Sue and Jerry Morrissey of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his best friend, Jack the Chihuahua.
He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Betty Gerald; and his uncle, Richard Wallace.
Private services will be held at a later date and The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donors' choice.

Rex, you are now at peace and with God and your family. We loved having you work at the pharmacy, and everybody loved coming in to talk to you and listen to your stories. Your God children miss you terrible, as do your Ft. McCoy friends. Jsut know, Rex, that you will be forever n our hearts! May you RIP, Sir!
