Kathy Butts COLUMBIA - Jekaterina Kathy Butts, 82, of Columbia, passed away peacefully November 11, 2012, at her home. Born June 6, 1930, in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, she was the daughter of the late Georg and Hilda (Mileva) Kobzev. Mrs. Butts spent most of her adolescence in Germany, where she attended the University of Frankfurt, and where she met her husband, Norman Alton Butts, who preceded her in death on December 3, 2006. The couple was wed September 10, 1958 and shared a union of more than 54 years. She enjoyed crafts and sewing, and in her younger years she and her husband loved to travel. She is survived by one son Terrence Butts and his wife, Vicki; daughter, Wendy Durham; three granddaughters, Sage, Shannon and Vada Durham. She will be dearly missed. Wendy and Family, I'm so sorry to hear of your Mother's death. I share your sorrow in loosing a Mother. Keep her close to your heart by remembering the good times. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
