I had the privilege and honor of working
as a colleague with Dr. Fain at MTC. He
was highly regarded by all of the staff
and faculty there as outstanding in all
that he did. The students could not
wait to sign up for his classes, and
one of my fondest memories of Dr. Fain
is seeing him on the campus with students around him, laughing, talking
and noticing how they responded to him.
He made them feel "at home", something
not all professors can do. God has chosen to bring him home to Himself, but he will never be forgotten by those
who knew him, and will always be missed. My love, blessings, and prayers are with his family and loved ones. Marilyn Crolley

I was sorry to hear about the passing of our neighbor Mr. Fain. He and his wife walked our streets for exercise many, many years but his son Ivan has taken over that legacy. He also taught my husband Mathematics at Midlands and tried his best to tutor me in Math as a child. Our sympathies to go out to the family.
