Beulah Cornelia Locklear Crapps WEST COLUMBIA - Funeral services for Beulah Cornelia Locklear Crapps, 88, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012, in the Carpenters Shop Church, officiated by Reverend Ralph Rawls and Reverend O. W. Walters. Interment will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to Tri-County Hospice, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Ste 100, Columbia, SC 29210. Mrs. Crapps passed away Monday, November 12, 2012. Born to John and Ada Locklear in Greeleyville, SC, she was a member of Carpenters Shop Church, 650 Ermine Road, West Columbia, SC. She was a loving mother who touched the lives of many children through her many years of teaching Sunday School and operation of a day care center in her home. Surviving is her loving husband of 71 years, James E. Crapps, Sr.; daughter, Dell Paxton (John); sons, Jerry Crapps (Sue) and James Crapps, Jr., (Annie); daughter-in-law, Wanda Crapps; sister, Burnell Tuten; brother, Johnny Locklear; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
