Mr. Boyd will be missed tremendously. I had the pleasure of doing business with him numerous times and I will never forget his sense of humor and kindness. Always had a whitty & spunky response that made us all laugh. Very sad loss to our community.

The Boyd Family:
I am sorry, but I have just found out of Billy's passing, and wish to express our sorrow of learning of his passing. I first met Billy in 1973, and will always remember his friendly smile and strong hand. He was always a gentleman. I'm glad that I knew Billy.

My family and I are very sorry for your loss. I worked for Billy for nearly 30 years at Standard Parts and he was my true mentor. He taught me not only the parts business, but how to be successful in any business. We had a great team at Standard Parts and some of my life's best memories come from that time. I still keep in touch with many of my former co-workers at a monthly luncheon, and Billy would also join us from time to time. One memory I will always cherish is Billy teaching my young son how to shake hands "like a man", not like a "dish rag" as he put it. My son, now 43, still talks of that and we have made a habit over the years of teaching the same lesson to others!
Again, my sincere sympathy for your loss.
