Anne Pendleton CAMDEN - Graveside service to celebrate the life of Anne Horton Pendleton, 83, of Camden, SC, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in Quaker Cemetery. Rev. Pat Amick will officiate. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter, 460 S. Fair Street, Camden, SC 29020. Anne Horton Pendleton, widow of William Melvin Pendleton, Jr., died Monday, July 7, 2014. She was born in Camden, SC, a daughter of the late Edith Eddings and Oscar Rush Horton. Anne was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church and was a retired school teacher. Anne is survived by her daughter Penny P. Rubin (John) of Greenville, SC; and Pam Pendleton of Lexington, SC; son, William M. "Bill" Pendleton III (Susan) of Camden; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, Anne was predeceased by her sisters, Faye Fidler and Ollie Chandler, and her brother, Bobby Horton.
