My heart is so very sad tonight as I try to share my thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Anthony came to visit me last week on Wednesday evening, and made me so very happy. He was his usual bubbly self. He always brought a smile to me and my children when he appeared. Louis, my husband was no different before he passed away three and a half years ago. Anthony and Louis were very close and I know Louis greeted him at heavens doors when he entered those golden gates. Anthony was one of the most careing, loving peopleI know. He watched out for me after Louis was gone. I could always count on him no matter what...Moneit,and family, Mr and Mrs. Moye, please know my prayers are with you and continue to lift you up. Words seem so inadiquet right now but I loved Anthony and he won't ever be forgotten. Love you,

I like so many am so lost for words, Major Moye was one of my customers with the Frieght Services Branch at Fort Jackson, it was an honor to assist him in the movement of his equipment for exercises, missions and training. He was always a delightful and professional individual. I enjoyed his friendship and held onto as much of his wisdom that I could. My heart is saddened for the Moye family, prayers and comfort I pray for each of you. He was a special person and has now received the highest honor known to mankind to be in the presence of the Lord and all his Glory. God Bless each of you.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of the late MAJ Anthony Moye. I am still totally shocked and very saddened of the news of our fallen comrade. MAJ Moye will be greatly missed. I met MAJ Moye at the USARC in Charleston, SC when he was w/942nd TC and I was with 1182nd Trans Bn. We all shared sooooo many laughs and smiles. It felt like family training together. MAJ Moye was definitely a “Soldier's soldier.” There was nothing he wouldn't do for you, if it was in his powers. I will always remember the laughs, the stories, the smiles that we all (942nd/1182nd) shared w/MAJ Moye. And even though it seems like you will never recover from your loss, it is the memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles. During your bereavement and loss Psalms 121: 1-2 says: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth." My thoughts and prayers are with you. With heartfelt sympathy………LTC Tracey M. Williams

I've known Anthony since elementary school. Throughout our school years, Anthony always seemed to quickly achieve the status of teachers' favorite due to his integrity, honor, and sense of responsibility that was evident even at a young age. He was so loved by the teachers and principal that he was the only student we knew with special privileges to enter the teacher's lounge at will and access the "special" snacks. It was nothing to find Anthony in the teacher's lounge, "chilling" with the teachers like he was one of them!
In fact, when I think of Anthony, I can still see him as a safety patrol in elementary school wearing his orange sash and hat, treating his "job" with such intensity, pride, and dedication. I see those traits remained with him throughout his life.
My deepest condolences to the Moye family. Anthony was truly a genuine, honorable person that will not be forgotten. He had a big smile and an even bigger heart- a real stand-up guy. May God grant you comfort and peace.

During a meeting on Saturday, Anthony told me and a few other Chiefs that he had conducted a Class A uniform inspection of his men. He emphasized to them the importance of being prepared, especially your Class A uniform, because you never know when you might have to wear it to a Firefighter's funeral. He was proud of the fact that so many Firefighter's had attended the funeral of another Firefighter's son. He said, "That's the way it oughta be. Firefighter's fillin' up the pews at the church." We will fill it for you tomorrow my friend.

Dearest Moniet:
We are so saddened to hear about Anthony. He had just visited my Mom last week; made her day :) My Dad used to always light up when Anthony would come over and tinker with him in the yard, etc... Over the last two days, I have visioned my Dad standing at the gates with open arms to welcome him....gives me chill bumps. The loss is great, the gain is greater. My Mom is so saddened and is out of town this week. I will bring her to see you next week. We will see you today; Alon, Pam, and myself. We sure will miss Anthony and his beautiful smile and that twinkle in his eyes. We will be thinking of you and praying for you in the coming weeks.
Much love and hugs,
~~Della
