Harry Herman Riley COLUMBIA- The homegoing service for Mr. Harry Herman Riley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2014 Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home (2930 Colonial Drive, Columbia) with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Born in Orangeburg, Harry was the son of the late Commodore and Salley Riley. He passed away on January 24, 2014 at the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center. He was 86. From 1952-54, he served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, earning both the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. After his distinguished service in the military, Harry began a successful 50-year career as a brick mason in the housing industry. An avid fisherman, he won numerous awards for his efforts. He was a proud Mason of local Lodge 147. Mr. Riley is survived by his wife, Frances; an acknowledged son, Harry D. Riley; granddaughters, Servanti and Nechari; five sisters-in-law: Alice Anderson, Mary Ferguson, Edna Barr, Geneva Pough and Frances Stevens; three brothers-in-law: Willie Stevens, James Pugh and Eugene Trapp; two special nephews/caregivers, William A.
