Frazier Waldrop, Jr. ROCK HILL Mr. Lawson Frazier Waldrop, Jr., 98, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Willowbrook Skilled Nursing. A memorial service will be 4pm on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel with Revs. Mary Katherine Robinson and Barry Yates officiating. Burial will be in Marion, SC. Born in Rock Hill, Mr. Waldrop was a son of the late Lawson Frazier Waldrop, Sr. and the late Inez Smith Waldrop. He was a 1938 graduate of the University of Tennessee and a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He was a US Army Major in the Corp of Engineers serving in WWII. He was the retired owner/operator of Rock Hill Heating & Plumbing and a former member of the Elks Club, the Kiwanis Club and the Rotary Club. Mr. Waldrop was the widower of Alexina Davis Waldrop and was also preceded in death by his brother, Lindsay Waldrop and his sister, Vernon Rainwater. A special thank you to our dad's angels, Lynn and Ava Campbell, Joe and Bonnie Sherer, Jim Johnson, Bob Vogle, Mike Munn, Sandy and Carolyn, Iris Roach, Cynthia and Kohl and Becky. Also, thanks to the love and care given at Morningside and Willowbrook. Surviving are his sons, Frazier Waldrop of Marion, SC and Bill Waldrop of Concord, NC; his daughter, Lillian W. Tate of Rock Hill; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Waldrop's name to Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church, 421 Oakland Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29730; or to
