Otis Bouknight GADSDEN - The homegoing service for Mr. Otis Bouknight will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Red Hill Baptist Church with burial at Red Hill Cemetery. Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home (2930 Colonial Drive, Columbia) has been entrusted with the arrangements. Mr. Bouknight was born in Gadsden, SC to the late Will Bouknight, Sr. and Wilheminia Jenkins Bouknight. He passed away peacefully on May 2, 2014 at Dorn VA Medical Center. He was 61. Mr. Bouknight was baptized and became a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He was a graduate of Hopkins High School in Gadsden. After completing high school, he joined and served The United States Army for seven years. He was employed at Anchor Continental Tape for many years and The University of South Carolina. He is survived by his sons, Travis Myers and Travis Bouknight; two grandchildrens; brothers, Will Bouknight, Jr., James Bouknight, Clyde L. (Pauline Taylor) Bouknight; sister, Mae Frances (Thomas) Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.bosticktompkinsinc.com.
