Brooks was born January 27, 2009, in Columbia, SC, and passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2010.
Brooks is survived by his parents, Amy and Tim Martin; sister, Briana Martin; grandparents, Susan and Michael Tanrath, David Newhouse and Diane Greene; uncle, Zachary Newhouse; aunt, Christy (Matt) Mervine; uncle, Bob (Kim) Martin and numerous cousins and other family members.

I don't know your family, but I heard about this horrible tragedy and wanted to express my deepest sympathy.
Brooks is a beautiful child and his smile just melts hearts in the picture. I know he had to melt the hearts of people he came into contact with over his short life.

I didn't get to know Brooks that well but I felt like I did through his proud, doting grandparents (Susan and Michael) and the big smiles on their faces whenever they talked about him. He fought hard from birth to stay and spend even this short time with his mommy and daddy and family and friends. Now your sweet little boy and his doggie can rest in peace.
