Jaye Darren Sikes CLEARWATER, Fla. - Jaye Darren Sikes, 49, passed away Monday February, 18, 2013. Jaye grew up in Columbia, S.C., and was a graduate of Irmo High School. He spent over 25 years working in the food and vending industry. He was an avid salesman and loved nothing more than the "Art of the Deal." At the pinnacle of his life, he was a larger-than-life character who loved all the finer things that success could offer. At the end of his life he was alone, struggling, and realized that it wasn't success or "things" that brought lifelong happiness and joy. Jaye leaves behind his daughter, Bailey; his parents, Jim and Greta Sikes; brother, Randy Sikes; sister, Deborah Stokes; as well as several heartbroken friends and colleagues. There will be a private memorial for Jaye in Florida. In lieu of flowers, it's requested that if you know a person struggling with addiction, reach out and let them know that they are loved and that they matter.
