Mrs. Felder went home to be with the Lord September 16, 2010. Born in Barnwell County, she was the daughter of the late Deacon Sam Sr. and Sara Ree Robinson. Jewel was one of nine children and was educated in the Barnwell County Schools. She was united in holy matrimony to Gollie Felder Sr. and to their union five sons were born; one of whom preceded her in death, Ronald Felder. Jewel and Gollie Sr. Raised their family in Columbia, SC and the last five years of her life she resided with her son Ted and his wife Berenda in Salley, SC.
Jewel will forever be remembered and her memory cherished by her husband, Gollie Felder Sr.; sons, Gollie Jr. (Linda), Harold (Deborah), Ted (Berenda) and Rodger (Yolanda) Felder; three brothers, Isaiah (Peggy), Arnold and Harry Robinson; and one sister, Barbara Jean Bing; eight grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by her departure, but rejoice that she is resting with the Lord. www.bosticktompkinsinc.com

Ms Jewel was one of the sweetest, kindest, most beautiful and wisest ladies I knew. I will miss our shared love of gladiolas and roses, but I will plant some this spring in her honor. Rest well Beautiful lady and know that you are remembered and cherished. Peace and Blessings to the family.
