Madeline Angone Lott AIKEN - Madeline Angone Lott, 90, of Aiken passed away on January 7 while surrounded by her family that she loved and cherished so much. She left this Earth to be with her loving husband Leon, who had passed away in May 2012. They were ready to be together again. "Mag" and "Grandma" was born and raised in Chicago, IL in a traditional Italian home. She was the daughter of Tony and Theresa Angone and sister to brothers Nicky, Jimmy and Anthony, who all predeceased her. Her brothers all served in the military, which made her very proud. While visiting her brother Anthony, who was in the Army at Ft Hood, TX, she met the man that would be her husband and partner in life for 59 years. Married in Chicago on January 3, 1953, in a traditional Italian wedding, they moved to Aiken to began their joyous life together. They had three children that they made the priority of their lives, Leon Jr, Terese and Annette, and raised them in a loving and caring way. Mag's life can be defined as family. Nothing was more important than her family. She instilled that attribute into her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as her legacy to her life. She was the glue that held the Lott family together. Even to her final hours, she was a teacher of life and role model to her family. She was proud of each one of them. She was always there at sporting events, school and church functions, or wherever her family wanted her to be. She was outspoken in her own loving way. While death may have taken her from her family physically, death can not take the precious memories her family will always have of her in our hearts. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the South Carolina Sheriff's Association. She is survived by her children Leon, Jr (Bridgette) of Columbia, Terese Henson (Jeff) of Aiken and Annette Gorrell (Karl) of North Charleston. Grandchildren Amanda Blackmon (Royce), Lara Lott, Misty Cooper(Ray), McKenzie Lott, Nicole Wittner (Josh), Allyson Langley (Kyle), Leslie Henson, and Gina Droz (Brandon).
