My husband and I came to know of Richard by participating in a benefit ride for him. I began following his page. I had no idea that I would later know first hand of what hew was battling until March when my granddaughter was diagnosed with DIPG. Richard then truly became and inspiration to our family as we followed his progress, and victories during his battle. Mom, you and your faith are also an inspiration. I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling. My heart is breaking for you and Rheagan and Devin. You were truly blessed with an angel from God. An angel who was called home way too soon. But in his short lifetime, he touched so many people. On the Sunday that Richard passed I was at church and the pastor was talking about the bad things we go through in life and how we should try and look at these things as gifts directly from the hands of God. And use these 'gifts' to glorify God. That is much easier said than done. But you have done that from day one. I don't know, actually I do know, where you get your strength from but I still don't know how you do it. We do have strength in knowing that he is with Jesus now and we will see him again soon. But the beautiful little body that held the sweetest little soul is gone now. I love you and thank you for allowing God's glory to shine through you and Richard during all of this ?
