To the sons, mother, brother, sister and other family members and friends, to GOD be the Glory, HE knows ALL, HE makes no mistakes. She will be there waiting for you when you get there. It was my pleasure to know and work with Teresa for the time she was with Richland District One. 2 Timothy 4:5-8 reads : Stand steady, and don't be afraid of sufferring for the Lord.Bring others to Christ. Leave nothing undone that you ought to do.I say this because I won't be around to help you very much longer. My time has almost run out.Very soon now I will be on my way to heaven. I have fought long and hard for my Lord, and through it all I have kept true to Him. And now that the time has come for me to stop fighting and rest.In heaven a crown is waiting for me which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will give me on that great day of His return. And not just to me, but to all those whose lives show that they are eagerly looking forward to His coming back again. "May the Peace of GOD be upon each of you"

I remember serving with her on the Jr. Ushers at Haskell Heights 1st Baptist Ch. and how her meek spirit showed through her smile and willingness to follow her leaders. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Teresa's untimely death. I remember working with her at Baptist Hospital back in the 1980's and 90's. Such a kind and dignified person and a great nurse. My deepest condolences to her family especially her two sons.

Teresa will be missed. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."Teresa 's son Belton and my daughter Jasmine, attended the same elementary school, and graduated the same year. The last time I saw Teresa was a few years ago, bringing her son lunch at the place where he worked, she was just smiling! Our prayers go out to the family.

Delores and family,
I was shocked to hear of Teresa's passing. I remember her as a classmate at Eau Claire High and as a co-worker at McDonald's. I feel as if a dear cousin has left me. Please know I understand this is a very difficult time, but God does not make mistakes. He knew Teresa was an Angel he had prepared and was ready to receive. We shared so many laughs between us; Janis, Regina, Angela and I. I will always remember her smile and kind spirit.

To the Family of Teresa,
I was deeply saddened that I learned the passing of your mother, sister, brother, child, family, friend and my Pass Boss. She had the ability to light up the room by simply walking in. I know that words won't fill the void left in your lives, however, I hope that you will find comfort in the love of family and friends. God continue to take you in his hands and comfort you during this difficult time.

As you walk along the path of life and no longer see her footsteps beside yours, remember she will be with you always.

With Warmest Regards,

Charise Johnson
