Vernice Bodiford Dew COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Vernice Bodiford Dew will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Dunbar Funeral Home Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm prior to the service. An inurnment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Dew died Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Born in Blackville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late George and Amanda Hutto Bodiford. Surviving are her sons, Walter (Ellen) Dew and James "Jim" (Patricia) G. Dew; four grandchildren, Marie (Jeff) Stanley, Mark (Jen) Dew, April Dew, Jeff Dew; two great-grandchildren, Will and Hope Stanley. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Lloyd Bodiford and sister, Marie Williamson. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 5422 Augusta Road, Lexington SC 29072.
