Kathe Frieda Walter COLUMBIA - A visitation for Kathe Frieda Walter, 81, will be held from 10 until 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with a private burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Walter died Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Born in Wismar, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Handler Johannes Ferdinand Adolf Seeler and Magdalene Marie Elisabeth Seeler. Mrs. Walter worked at Belks, American International Travel Agency, At Your Service by Kathe Landscaping, Duck-Bak Roofing and ABC Supply Co. Inc. Kathe's favorite position was that of devoted mother, grandmother, and she was an integral part of her family's daily life. Surviving are her son, Charles C. Walter (Kim); grandson, Charles A. Walter (Jessica); granddaughter, Devon E. Walter, all of Columbia; Kim's family, Barbara Carman, Ross, Christie, Sidney and Brandon Wolf all of Florida; sister, Finchen Fick; several nieces, nephews and extended family in Germany. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Chuck Walter. The family wishes to thank the caring, dedicated staff of Palmetto Richland Heart Hospital for outstanding medical care.
