Willie Shealy Westmoreland CLOVER - Mrs. Willie Shealy Westmoreland went home to be with the Lord peacefully Friday, February 22, 2013, while spending time with her Husband and family. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Willie will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, at Clover Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service, in the Fellowship Hall at the church. The family will be at Willie's home at 205 Marietta Street, Clover, in the afternoons. A private burial will be held prior to the service in Woodside Cemetery. Willie was born June 9, 1929, in Sharon, and was the daughter of the late James Willie Shealy and Addie Bouknight Shealy. She graduated from Winthrop in 1950 and came to Clover and taught school in Clover where she met her husband, James D. Westmoreland. They were married 60 years on November 2, 2012. Willie was a homemaker for years while they raised their four children. She was a loving wife, mother and friend, and loved all of her family and friends dearly. She was a bookkeeper and partner with her husband, Jim, at Clover Builders Supply and Westmoreland Construction Co. Willie was an active member of Clover Presbyterian Church where she served in many capacities, some of which were Sunday School teacher, Women of the Church, and Elder. She had a special place in her heart for the Missions of the Church. She is survived by her husband and best friend, James D Westmoreland, her children, Don and Kay Westmoreland of Lake Wylie, Jane and Tommy McCall of Clover, Sara and Billy Turner of Mozambique, Africa, David and Ange' Westmoreland of Clover; grandchildren, Jamie Westmoreland, Lane and Carr Bennett, Christopher McCall, Tommy Jr. and Suzanne McCall, Will and Elaine Turner, Charity and Buck Hughes, Cameron and Matt Burris, and six great-grandchildren, Carly and Preston Bennett, Stewart and Ben McCall, Emma and Ansley Turner; Special Friend, Pat Gunn; her two brothers and sisters-in-law, James B. and Mary Ann Shealy, Robert W. and Carolus Shealy, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charlotte W. Barnett, Bill and Mary Westmoreland, Bob and Elsie Westmoreland, Jack and Betty Westmoreland, Ted and Margaret Westmorland, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Clover Presbyterian Church, Building Fund, 202 Kings Mountain Street, Clover, SC 29710. M.L.
